Great Week! We had a great stay at Whitemead at the end of August/September. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was happy to chat and give recommendations etc. The facilities were immaculately clean and the music in the toilets/showers was was a nice touch. The pitches were nice and spacious. The site is close to a train line but we weren't distubed by it and overall it's a nice peaceful site. There are some lovely walks from the site (we walked from the site to the Tank Museum and back with no problems) The site is 5 mins walk from the bus/train station where you can find local transport to easily explore the area so we left the motorhome on the pitch for the week and visited Poole, Corfe Castle, Swanage, Lulcorth Cove, Durdle Door, Weymouth and Bournemouth all by public transport. Just across the railway bridge is the local pub which give 10% discount off food for guests staying at Whitemead and the food was lovely, definitely worth a visit. We had a great week at Whitemead, we felt very welcomed and will happily return in the hopefully not too distant future.

Amazing!! I can’t write enough positive things about this campsite. When you arrive, it immediately feels like home. Roy knows you by name and greets you warmly. Jill and Shane are also lovely and the ladies in the reception cannot do more to help you. The facilities are clean and the wardens are always happy to help and deal with any issues accordingly. Cleanest site I've visited. I stayed here with my two teenage children and had an amazing time. The site is kept beautifully clean and tidy and the toilets and showers are spotless, (even my kids commented on the cleanliness as they know what I'm like!) Everyone was friendly and didn't experience any noise nuisance during our stay. Loads of places to explore within the local area which kept my teens occupied and happy!! Fantastic site We had a fabulous week at Whitemead, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, nothing was to much trouble and they would go over and behond to help with any enquiry. Safe site as a solo parent Immaculately clean facilities We had a lovely stay and were really impressed with the site. The facilities were immaculately clean, and the staff were incredibly approachable, friendly and welcoming, giving the site a lovely family feel. The staff were also very knowledgeable about the local area and were always happy to share recommendations and advice on places to visit, which was really helpful and made exploring the area even more enjoyable. The site is close to a train line which does run into the night. However, we quickly got used to the sound and, after a short while, barely noticed the trains at all. There are some beautiful walks directly behind the site, which were perfect for getting out and enjoying the surrounding area. It’s a peaceful, quiet site with quite a few permanent caravan owners. I was initially unsure whether this might make the site feel a little cliquey, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The owners near our pitch were incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made us feel very comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. A real 'Gem in Wool' We have just left Whitemead Caravan Park, I can honestly say its one of the cleanest friendliest parks we have been on in a long while. The staff can't do enough to help and it felt super safe for the children to play. Fabulous transport links too. We will definitely be back very soon. Highly recommend this site.
