You will also find a range of useful onsite facilities designed to make your stay more comfortable, including free hot showers, a well-stocked shop, a children’s play area and an indoor games room. With everyday essentials close at hand, it is easy to relax and feel at home throughout your stay at Whitemead.
Our peaceful countryside setting gives you room to unwind, whilst Wool village, local pubs and transport links are all within easy walking distance. Dogs are welcome too, so no member of the family needs to miss out!
Set within five and a half acres of peaceful countryside, Whitemead is ideally placed for discovering some of Dorset’s best-known attractions and most beautiful scenery.
Wool Station is just a five-minute walk from the park, so you can leave the car behind - and your caravan comfortably pitched - whilst you head out for a day of exploration.
Direct rail connections put Wareham, Dorchester, Weymouth, Poole and Bournemouth within easy reach, giving you a simple and more relaxed way to discover Dorset’s historic towns, coastal destinations, shops and attractions. The same railway line also connects Wool with Southampton and London Waterloo, making Whitemead a convenient choice for guests arriving without a car.
We’re proud to call Dorset home, and our friendly team is always happy to share local recommendations and help you plan your days out.
There is enough to see and do around Whitemead Caravan Park to fill anything from a weekend break to a longer holiday.
